Before you begin…
A few tips before you start a Kailo Fitness Program:
1) Talk to your doctor. Let him or her know you plan to begin a fitness routine and make sure the choice is right for you. Yes, we know you see this disclaimer on any fitness program or product, but it truly is important. A doctor can give a full evaluation of any physical problem that may impact your new fitness program. This will help you begin your program in a way that is most beneficial for your body.
2) If you do not already maintain a regular exercise program, try hopping on a stationary bike at the gym for about 20 minutes at a moderate speed or taking short walks around your neighborhood daily. This will give you an idea of how your body moves, where you feel restricted and what you may wish to improve. This will be very helpful when you begin your Kailo Fitness Program.
3) Try keeping a food journal for three days. Track WHAT you eat, WHEN you eat it and, of course, HOW MUCH of each item you eat. Nutrition is an essential component of a well-rounded fitness program, so the food journal will give you and your trainer a better idea of what kinds of nutritional changes, if any, should be made.
4) Get plenty of sleep! Keep track of the hours you sleep in a sleep log (could be the same as your food log) so you can note patterns and ensure you are getting enough sleep. Starting a new fitness program is a physical challenge for everyone and the body needs time to recuperate.
5) Finally, be sure to download and fill out the Fitness Program forms in our “Forms” section before your first session.
