FITNESS PHILOSOPHY:
David’s strongest gift is finding a path to fitness and wellness for every client, regardless of their athletic history or physical limitations. To accomplish this, David utilizes a variety of evidence-based, cutting-edge techniques to tailor dynamic multi- faceted fitness regimens. He combines the principles of functional and traditional strength training to help clients achieve long-term health and wellness. David constantly assesses postural balance and poise: his guides to help achieve a state of relaxed strength. His diverse clientele includes active professionals, physicians, athletes, adolescents, and people recovering from orthopedic injuries and other health issues. Not only does David enjoy long-term relationships with his clients, but these clients often entrust him with the wellness of their closest family members. In addition to his expansive knowledge base. David works closely with physicians, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other fitness specialists to stay up-to-date on the latest exercise research. While building balance and strength is David’s primary background, he knows that complementary techniques such as yoga, pilates, martial arts and dance are often needed to create a well-rounded program. By introducing clients to fitness experts in all fields, David is able to “fill in the gaps” in his own expertise and create dynamic, engaging, and fun workouts. FITNESS PHILOSOPHY:
Kieran Shamash is a yoga instructor and Registered Nurse currently working in critical care. In addition to her yoga teaching and practice, she works closely with clients and personnel to ensure a positive environment reflecting Kailo’s values and beliefs. It is her strong belief that everyone can make positive changes in their lives and that each individual has unique needs that must be respected and addressed in any wellness program. As a masters-prepared registered nurse working in the Intensive Care Unit, Kieran brings this knowledge and experience to assist her clients in developing a healthier lifestyle. Kieran is also passionate about educating new parents in infant safety through her fun, engaging in-home CPR classes.
