FITNESS PHILOSOPHY

For over 20 years, David has excelled at guiding every client, regardless of their athletic background or physical limitations, on a life-long journey towards fitness and wellness. He achieves this by integrating a range of evidence-based, cutting-edge techniques rooted functional and traditional strength training principles to create personalized and dynamic fitness plans. After seven years of extensive study in the science of the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), David focuses on building relaxed strength: a type of training that creates a sense of balance and easeful movement in the body. He does this by assisting clients to manage both internal and external pressure for optimal respiration and gait mechanics with minimal wear and tear. David's diverse clientele includes active professionals, physicians, athletes, adolescents, and individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or other health conditions. Not only does he cultivate strong, lasting relationships with his clients, but they also trust him with the well-being of their loved ones.

Sawyer has spent a combined 15-years in the fitness industry, starting as a collegiate athlete and graduating with a B.S. in Kinesiology, with an emphasis in exercise science and health promotion, and a minor in psychology and nutrition. Sawyer’s coaching experience -- ranging from retired business executives, professional athletes, and the everyday person seeking to better themselves – uniquely qualifies her to manage Kailo’s exclusive fitness partnership at The California Club.

Since 2016, Annie has reliably supported the Kailo team in the role of Operations Coordinator. Energetic, collaborative and detail-oriented, she thrives in an environment in which she can create and support organized systems and processes. Annie’s skills in planning, prioritizing and multi-tasking keep Kailo’s coaches and clients all on track. Annie also enjoys baking for and playing board games with her family and Scouting, sailing and camping too!
